    Need suggestions about visa issue to Haikou

    Hi, quick question！


    We are a British family and want to visit Haikou, Hainan. We have flights from Taiwan and out to Vietnam. We also booked the hotel. Is that enough to qualify for visa on arrival or do we still need to connect to chinese travel agency?

    I know of there are 3 types visas for entrance to Hainan

    Visas arranged from embassies or consulates.

    Transit Without Visa (TWoV) good for 24, 72, or 144 hours visa free - must enter from country A and depart to country B. Hainan\'s airports only appears to be eligible for 24 hours.

    Hainan 30 day visa on arrival/Hainan Visa Free. - must be arranged through a travel agency and tours.

    You need flights and hotel bookings, as well as an agency willing to participate. They may want a fee to process the paper work, particularly if they are not arranging the flights or hotels.

    In order to use the Hainan 30 day visa free policy you MUST do so through a Chinese travel agency.
